Providence Health & Services Supervisor Supply Chain Operations in Everett, Washington
Providence is calling a Supply Chain Operations Supervisor to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA.
The Supply Chain Operations Supervisor is responsible for the successful day-today-day operations of Distribution, Receiving, Linen, Courier, and Mail services to the Northwest Service Area (NWSA), assuring agreed upon levels of inventory and supplies, financial performance, human resource management, quality standards, policy and procedure adherence, and management expectations.
In this position you will:
Oversee daily functions and operations of Distribution, Receiving, Linen, Courier and Mail services to optimize customer service, operational efficiency and cost effectiveness
Ensure adequate staffing levels in the department for the shifts responsible
Work with the Inventory Control Coordinator in monitoring the inventory levels to ensure stock on hand is appropriate, maintained at adequate levels and stored in an efficient and safe manner
Analyze PAR locations and usage to adjust as needed and appropriate
Participate in the screening, interviewing, and hiring of staff
Provide regular feedback to staff addresses disciplinary matters and completes annual performance evaluations on time
Provides support as required to the Supply Chain Operations manager and NWSA Supply Chain Management Director
Required qualifications for this position include:
One (1) year supervisory or lead experience
Three (3) years of materials management experience
Relevant experience in a warehouse environment, preferably one in which an electronic inventory management system was used
Demonstrable knowledge of sound inventory management practices
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Knowledge of PAR Optimization and PYXIS
