Providence Health & Services RN Examiner - Intervention Center in Everett, Washington
Providence is calling a Registered Nurse Examiner - Sexual Assault Center (Per Diem FTE, Night Shift) to work in Intervention Center at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA.
We are seeking a compassionate and caring Registered Nurse (RN) to provide physical, forensic and emotional evaluation of sexual assault and physical assault patients without physician presence.
In this position you will:
Demonstrate application of knowledge, skills, and behaviors in the physical, motor/sensory, cognitive, psychosocial, patient and family education areas based on PRMCE age specific care competency assessment tool.
Conduct interview utilizing age appropriate methods according to protocols, documents utilizing appropriate report form, dictates final report within 24 hours of examination, and reviews documentation in a timely manner with ARNP.
Demonstrate good communication and appropriate behaviors in accordance with PICAA philosophy.
Communicate directly with advocate during examination, and consults with ARNP as necessary and with any pediatric patients.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Associate's Degree Nursing degree/diploma required upon hire.
Bachelor's Degree Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or higher within 5 years of hire. Or equivalent educ/experience
1 year Prior direct patient care as a nurse.
RN license in State of Washington.
Valid WA state driver's license
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree Bachelor’s degree in nursing upon hire.
Coursework/Training Pediatric SANE Training
Coursework/Training Adult/Adolescent SANE Training
2 years direct patient care as a nurse.
