The Research Data Analyst has primary responsibility for coordinating the development/maintenance of computer databases for research studies and performing data entry. S/he collaborates with the Director and study team to coordinate research studies that involve primarily data retrieval from patient records in either inpatient or outpatient settings. S/he assists with development of study methods and procedures. S/he provides education regarding research data analysis and acts as a resource person.
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Coordinates the development/maintenance of computer databases for research studies; accurately performs data entry in a timely manner.
Accurately abstracts required data from patient records and completes data collection forms and other study-specific documents.
Maintains working relationships with other departments, agencies, and health care facilities, as required by the study.
Prepares reports for sponsoring agencies, as requested.
Complies with FDA guidelines for record retention/review.
Required qualifications for this position include:
H.S. Diploma or GED
1 year of work experience involving use of computers
1 year of work experience with data entry
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Science background
1 year of Healthcare experience
1 year of clinical research experience
