Providence Program Manager Care Management - Utilization Management in Everett, Washington


Providence is calling a Program Manager Care Management (1.0 FTE, DAY SHIFT) to the Utilization Management Department at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA.

This position is responsible for the development, planning, management, and coordination of cross-functional, complex system wide initiatives, projects and meetings. The Program Manager of Care Management is responsible for providing and coordinating strategic project management, analysis, and strategic decision-making support.

In this position you will:

  • Consistently demonstrates an advanced understanding of Project Management methodology & practices

  • Works to identify and resolve problems or difficulties independently

  • Effectively manages negotiations, project scoping, scheduling and budgeting

  • Communicates effectively with stakeholders and business partners both internal and external to the organization

  • Lead, develop, direct, motivate, and gain the commitment of teams

  • Proactively identify and implement enhancements and improvements to our use of technology solutions in a way that demonstrates documented operational improvement


Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Associates Degree in Business Relations or healthcare administration or equivalent educ/experience

  • Two (2) years experience in leading large, diverse and complex projects

  • Two (2) years experience in facilitating complex decision making among multiple executive stakeholders with different interests and priorities

  • Two (2) years experience in strategic planning, program management, group motivation, discipline and diplomacy

  • Two (2) years experience in developing and implementing benchmarks and metrics in support of improved quality and process design

  • Two (2) years experience working with financial services, payers and knowledge of Utilization Management/Case Management
