Providence Health & Services Program Assistant Cancer Program - Cancer Center Partnership *1.0 FTE, Day* in Everett, Washington
Providence is calling a Program Assistant - Cancer Program (1.0 FTE, Days) to the Cancer Center Partnership at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA.
This position represents and interacts with all Partner Leadership within the Cancer Partnership including Everett Clinic, NW Radiation Oncology Associates, Western Washington Medical Group and PRMCE. The Program Assistant of the Providence Regional Cancer Partnerships primary roles are to support the Regional Director, the Medical Director (as needed) and the Clinical Nurse Specialist (as needed). The Program Assistant also acts as the primary position responsible for tracking and recording the requirements of the American College of Surgeons accreditation (ACoS), and tri-annual Survey. This includes having an indepth understanding of the ACoS standards, entering and maintaining the electronic data to meet the standards, and ensuring all required meetings that take place. Additionally, the Program Assistant acts as the primary contact for support of the PRCP as a whole, in the event of emergencies, conference room scheduling, following up on facility/IS requests, etc. Additional duties also include maintaining the PRCP website, working with Marketing and Communications and making updates, and assisting with department changes including moves and overall space change coordination and needs of the PRCP.
In this position you will:
Provide Support for Regional Director, Medical Director, and key leadership at the Providence Regional Cancer Partnership.
Manages the Regional Directors daily appointment calendar, scheduling meetings, conferences and seminars. Also schedules meetings for designated managers and caregivers, resolve conflicts and reschedule meetings based on priority.
Submits expense reports in a timely manner for reimbursement
Develops and distributes meeting agendas and materials, attends and takes meeting minutes and provides other support as needed.
ACoS Accreditation required meetings, assures minutes and agenda items are in line with Accreditation requirements.
Required qualifications for this position include:
H.S. Diploma or GED or equivalent educ/experience
Three (3) years related experience as an administrative professional demonstrating initiative, analytic ability and high verbal/written communication ability in a healthcare setting
Experience in a cancer care setting
Data tracking and analysis
Experience with software applications; Excel, Word, Adobe, PowerPoint, Publisher
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Associate's Degree in Administrative program
Prior experience providing administrative support to multiple executives
