Providence Occupational Therapist – IP Rehab Facility in Everett, Washington
Providence is calling an Occupational Therapist - IP Rehab Facility (0.5 FTE, Variable Shift) to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA.
Provide medically prescribed therapy services using professionally accepted Occupational Therapy theory and skills.
In this position you will:
Demonstrates age specific patient care considerations for the population served:
Demonstrates application of knowledge, skills, and behaviors in the physical, motor/sensory, cognitive, psychosocial, patient and family education areas based on PEMC age specific care competency assessment tool.
Identifies impairments, functional limitations, and disability.
Identifies a diagnostic label which indicates the primary dysfunction toward which the Occupational Therapist directs interventions.
Performs selected test & measurements after the initial examination as clinically indicated to evaluate progress & to modify or redirect interventions.
Discharge patient from service when goals & outcomes have been achieved or discontinues patient from service when:
Person served declines interventions.
Person served is unable to progress toward goals.
Therapist determines that person served no longer benefits from intervention.
Disciplinary specific documentation is completed on a timely basis and in accordance with all requirements.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree Occupational Therapy
Current Occupational Therapy (OT) licensure in Washington State
Adult rehabilitation professional experience as an OT preferred, but will consider new graduates with relevant intern experience.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Occupational therapy experience in clinical setting.
