Providence Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Everett, Washington
Providence is calling a Nuclear Medical Technologist (Per Diem, Variable Shift) to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA.
We are seeking a detail-oriented laboratory technologist to provide the highest quality of patient care services through laboratory testing.
In this position you will:
Demonstrates age specific patient care considerations for the population served.
Demonstrates application of knowledge, skills, and behaviors in the physical, motor/sensory, cognitive, psychosocial, patient and family education areas based on PEMC age specific care competency assessment tool.
Operates Nuclear Medicine equipment for all Nuclear Medicine procedures for children, adolescents, adult and geriatric patients under the guidance of a Radiologist.
Maintains proficiency in operation of the RMS computer system to ensure timely procedures are performed and proper billing of patients occurs
Provides radiation protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards and department protocol
Maintains supplies in examination rooms. To ensure timely procedures. Monitors equipment operations and maintenance Maintains order and cleanliness of work area
Required qualifications for this position include:
Associate's Degree or coursework/training in Nuclear Medicine Technologist Program
Licenses, Certifications and Registrations must be unencumbered and valid in the state(s) of hire and wherever care is delivered.
WA State Certification Radiology (Must meet the Nuclear Medicine requirements on application).
NMTCB Certification (certified with the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certifying Board).
Valid CPR required or must be obtained within two weeks of hire.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Prior Nuclear Medicine Experience
