Providence Manager of Behavioral Health in Everett, Washington
Providence is calling a Manager of Behavioral Health (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to Providence Medical Group Northwest Washington in Everett, WA.
Provides leadership at the clinical level in the implementation and oversight of integrated behavioral health. While working closely with the team of Behavioral Health Specialists, the position also partners with Medical Directors, Director of Population Health, Integrated Service Leads, and Clinic Managers to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of quality patient care services as it relates to integrated behavioral health.

Role models positive employee relations, using evaluation and management techniques and criteria, which are consistent and fair yet flexible enough to support employee and department needs through performance management including hiring, transfers, promotions and evaluations and other HR functions.
Assists in the preparation, monitoring, and administration of monthly budget and capital requirements at the Providence Breakthrough - Outpatient Chemical Dependency in conjunction with the Director.
Provides clinical care and role models the department practice model. Assists with the development, modification and implementation of student care standards, policies, procedures and protocols. Establishes clear clinical practice expectations for student care areas using department philosophy
Initiates activities which promote and support department and division Quality Improvement plans. Effectively supports QI program and encourages staff and physician participation in development of expected outcomes. Accountable to learn and use tools to assist with the analysis of QI data. Actively involved in creation and dissemination of innovations in care delivery. Drives implementation of behavioral health models of care, standardization, and process improvement.
Acts as the HIPAA coordinator for Designated Record Set and Release of Information for Providence Breakthrough.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Master's Degree in Social Work
Licensed in the State of Washington is required as a Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor.
LICSW with ability to supervise LICSWA’s toward licensure.
Five (5) years clinical experience in area of clinical specialty
Three (3) years clinical supervisory, management or resource experience in the assigned technical or professional area or equivalent relevant experience
