Providence is calling a Home Health and Hospice Aide (NAC) (1.0 FTE, Day Shift) to work in Hospice Snohomish at SCS Hospice in Everett, WA.
The Home Health/Hospice Aide provides personal care, assistance with performing activities of daily living and prescribed therapeutic exercises, and basic housekeeping services essential to the comfort and cleanliness of receiving home care or hospice services. These services are specified by a written plan of care that is developed and supervised by a Registered Nurse.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Coursework/Training Completion of a certified nursing assistant course or equivalent training required.
Required upon hire: Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License (Vendor Managed)
Required upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Vendor Managed)
Preferred qualifications for this position includes:
- One (1) year previous home health/hospice experience required as a nurse’s aide, hospice aide, orderly, or related experience in an acute, rehabilitative, or long term care facility, or hospice organization

Our Inpatient Hospice Care Center provides a unique alternative to traditional home-based care for hospice patients who need symptom management which cannot be provided in the home. Located at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, the center serves patients in the hospital and offers the community a complete continuum of hospice care.

About the Team
Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.
HCC provides a full range of services and support for people of all ages, especially those facing chronic or life-limiting illnesses. Our core competencies include restorative care, longitudinal care and care through the end of life.
