Providence Electronic Imaging Technician in Everett, Washington
Providence is calling an Electronic Imaging Technician (0.5 FTE, Day Shift) to the Diagnostic Imaging department at Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett, WA.
Provides technical support to internal and external customers by efficiently performing a wide variety of tasks utilizing digital and Picture and Archive Communication Systems (PACS) technology with the ultimate goal of accurate and efficient utilization of electronic/manual image and data storage, reporting and distribution methodologies.
In this position you will:
Routinely checks PACS monitors to ensure that studies are flowing from the acquisition modalities and are properly routed to the review stations to assure a clinical continuity of service
Conducts training classes on PACS supported software applications using appropriate training techniques and level of communications
Troubleshoots, resolves, and documents unread studies log, exam problems, and service calls in order to meet established turnaround times of exam availability
Assists the radiologist, other physicians and staff in the execution of their duties by acting as a resource person for timely, effective use of services, both in electronic and manual modalities
Communicates reports and/or image data to the appropriate physician’s office in a timely manner. Complies with all joint commission and/or regulatory communication standards
Required qualifications for this position include:
