Providence Distribution Technician I - Medical Supplies in Everett, Washington

Providence St. Joseph Health is calling a Distribution Technician I (Per Diem, Variable Shift) to the Medical Supplies at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in Everett, WA .

We are seeking a Distribution Technician who will be working under the direct supervision of a Lead/Supervisor, Distribution Technician I is expected to work individually and as part of a team, responsible for issuing and delivery of supplies, equipment, linen and meeting Department productivity goals throughout the Medical campuses.

In this position you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate proper inventory handling techniques both in the warehouse and in hospitals.

  • Accommodate stat requests for supplies, deliveries and surgeries.

  • Properly loads delivery vehicles.

  • Properly uses Lawson system upon completion of training.

  • Re-stock and replaces carts, trays and drawers.

  • Maintain neat, clean and orderly facility.

  • Maintain department records.

  • Maintain confidentiality of records or medical center information at all times.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent education/experience

  • Relevant experience in a warehouse environment

  • Completion of Healthstream Customer Service Certificate after hire

  • Lift up to 50 lbs and push wheeled carts weighing up to 800 lbs over hard surfaces

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Warehouse experience in which an electronic inventory management system was used
